Empty Bowls is an annual community fundraiser put on by Dig In! Yancey Community Garden, a vital and highly regarded service organization in the Burnsville area. Dig In! grows and teaches people to grow that are in need of food assistance throughout the county. Their goal is to ensure that everyone eats fresh produce regardless of income. This was the eighth year for the dinner, taking place at the Burnsville Town Center.
