Aloha Acres

This is the logo I created for our little homestead here in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We named it Aloha Acres for several reasons, not the least of which is my fondness for all things Hawaiian. My wife’s mother lived her last years in a senior community of the same name in New Paltz, New York (also a beautiful and mountainous area) and regularly told her of the wild adventures, love triangles, friendships, and drama therein. There, mom met and fell in love with a gentleman of Mexican descent named Juan, after which they spent many shared conversations extolling the romantic virtues of their latin loves.
